 Planned activities for Danish side (duration 4 years, 2010-2013)

  1. Investigation of evacuated tubular solar collectors in an outdoor test facility.
  2. Investigation of heat store with high thermal stratification.
  3. Test of a solar combisystem for space heating and water heating in the test facility.
  4. Development of TRNSYS model of the solar combisystem for space heating and water heating.
  5. Validation of the TRNSYS model.
  6. Design and installation of the demonstration solar space heating and water heating combisystem in a single family house.
  7. Measurement of the thermal performance and energy saving of the demonstration system.

Planned activities for Chinese side (duration 3 years, 2010-2012)

  1. R & D of flat plate collectors with high performance for solar space-heating.
  2. Investigation of a stratified tank and preliminary investigation of thermal storage system utilizing phase-change material (PCM).
  3. Investigation and  optimization of system parameters on solar combisystems performance.
  4. Participation in development of TRNSYS model in cooperation with Danish partner.
  5. No activity.
  6. Design and installation of a demonstration solar combisystem.
  7. Monitoring of the pilot solar combisystem.
